Community Development Authority opens a Community Centre in Hatta

The Community Development Authority (CDA) opened a community centre in Hatta as part of its efforts to enhance communication with the public and facilitate the provision of its services to all areas of the emirate.
H.E Khaled Al Kamda, Director General of CDA, said: “This initiative reflects CDA’s vision to enhance social standards in Dubai and will aim at driving the service sector in the emirate according to the directives of a wise leadership to provide excellence in customer service.”
He added: “Through this centre, we will communicate with people in this area to meet their demands, and work on designing and developing service-related plans and initiatives.”
The customer service staff at the centre is ready to receive requests related to all volunteering services and community support services such as financial benefits,payment of rent, connection of electricity to new homes, and payment of tuition fees for people with disabilities for all nationals residing in Hatta. Additionally, they will oversee the organization of many community events, including Hatta Ramadan Forum, lectures, workshops and courses.
Customers will have access to all services related tocommunity support at the centreduring working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Community Development Authority (CDA) was founded by a decree of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in July 2008. CDA is responsible for setting up and developing a framework for social development, and aims to achieve the goals outlined in the Dubai Strategic Plans.
