City Walk Hosts UAE’s First Spring Festival Parade

On Friday, 16 February, 2018, City Walk by Meraas hosted the UAE’s First Spring Festival Parade in partnership with the Consulate General of China, Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing and Dubai Police.
The hour-long exclusive cultural event featured over 1,500 participants, representing 20 Chinese provinces through their traditional music and dance performances, and transformed the destination into an oriental wonderland.
This year, Meraas marks the Chinese New Year with a series of fun-filled events and entertainment across its destinations, including City Walk, The Beach, Boxpark, The Outlet Village, Al Seef, and La Mer. Radiant Chinese lanterns, traditional performances, an exclusive fashion show in partnership with China Kids Moda and special offers for Chinese visitors and residents are among the highlights of the celebrations.
