Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, has introduced an extensive ‘Connected Home Solution’ to consumers which aims to advance digital life at home by bringing a richer and more automated home entertainment and office experience to individuals worldwide. The cloud package seamlessly connects the latest innovations in home entertainment, small/home office (SOHO) technologies, and home security solutions. 

Huawei’s Connected Home Solution has been developed specifically for families, small to middle-sized enterprises, and customers across the broadcasting and telecommunications industry. The cloud package can be implemented without additional network investment, which is particularly beneficial and cost-effective for commercial organizations. Building momentum in the Middle East region, research group IDC noted in a recent 2012 outlook that cloud offerings will receive more serious attention in the year to come, with virtualization moving to attain “must-have” status.  A new survey from IBM also found that while only 13% of businesses have substantially implemented cloud-based offerings, they are expected to grow to 41% in the next three years.
