Community Development Authority organises Ferrari Parade

The Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai in collaboration with the Ferrari Owners Club organised a parade of 63 Ferrari cars, as part of the 40th National Day celebrations of UAE.
The parade started from the Union House in Jumeirah and culminated at the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR). Cars were decorated with UAE flag colours and the slogan of the celebrations "the spirit of the Union".
His Excellency Khaled Al Kamda, Director General of the Community Development Authority was present at the parade. Al Kamda said: “This initiative demonstrates the cooperation with various organisations and social clubs in Dubai and underlines the importance of building bridges between all communities living among us. The parade also reflects the theme of this year’s National Day, ‘the spirit of the Union.’
This initiative has seen a significant interaction by the public who was cheering the members along the Jumeirah Road, as some of them have engaged in the parade to mark the UAE 40th National Day.
Gifts were also distributed to the children with disabilities at the end of the parade by the members of the Ferrari Owners Club reflecting the overwhelming joy and happiness of this occasion.

Community Development Authority
The Community Development Authority (CDA) was founded by a decree of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in July 2008. CDA is responsible for setting up and developing a framework for social development, and aims to achieve the goals outlined in the Dubai Strategic Plans.
