The kitchen at the Concorde Fujairah Hotel, a luxury accommodation in the heart of the city, became a classroom to children from the Fujairah Private Academy (FPA) who visited the property to learn about “Healthy Food and Food Hygiene.”

Three groups of students along with their teachers were welcomed to the property for three days by the Concorde chefs headed by Chef Musbah who gave a brief lecture on the importance of healthy cooking and eating. The two-hour session also involved hands-on learning for students who were challenged to prepare their own lunch and on the menu was a beef burger followed by a fruit and custard tart with water to drink.

Mohamed Fekry, General Manager, said: “We have invited three groups of students to the property to learn from our chefs about healthy cooking and eating. Our chefs became teachers for three days and I’m sure they were all delighted to share their skills with the children who were all excited and eager to learn. We gave them a tour of our kitchen and let them prepare their own lunch. The children and their teachers had a great time!”
