Concorde Hotel Fujairah supports the 3rd Fujairah Open International Taekwondo Championship
Concorde Hotel Fujairah, a luxury accommodation in the heart of Fujairah, extended its support to the recently concluded 3rd Fujairah Open Taekwondo Championship, by hosting the registration of the players, awarding ceremony and dinner reception for the organizers.
The Fujairah Open Taekwondo Championship was inaugurated by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. Nearly 66 athletes from 58 countries competed in the championship.
Dr. Chungwon Choue, President of World Taekwondo Federation, Ibrahim Abdul Malik, Secretary-General of the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare, Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al Ruzooqi, President of the UAE Taekwondo and Karate Federation, and a number of foreign guests also attended the opening event.
The Concorde Hotel Fujairah hosted the registration of the players from 2nd February to 4th 2015 and all the teams/players used its ballrooms for practice. The luxury property also hosted the awarding and dinner of the organizers on 6th February 2015.

Also known as Taekwon-Do and Tae Kwon Do, taekwondo is a Korean martial art combining combat and self-defense techniques with sport and exercise. It is one of only two Asian martial arts (the other being judo) that are included in the Olympic games since 1992.
