Arabian Courtyard hosts lunch for Australia and New Zealand travel agents

Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa, located in the heart of the ancient cultural district of Dubai, recently hosted lunch for the 300 travel agents from Australia and New Zealand visiting Dubai for a familiarization tour.
The objective of the familiarization trip was to promote Dubai to both Australia and New Zealand top selling agents and media as a stand-alone holiday destination as well as increase the awareness of Dubai’s extensive product.

DTCM Australia/New Zealand office took the initiative to bring the travel agents and media to Dubai for the familiarization trip with the support of DTCM Dubai office, Emirates Airline as travel partner and Arabian Adventure as logistic supplier. This initiative was taken to promote Dubai as single tourist destination as well as to increase the stop over from this region. In 2011 Dubai recorded growth of travellers from Australia to Dubai with figures showing +13% from Australia and +4% from New Zealand.
