Crowne Plaza® Amman proudly achieved ISO 22000 food safety certificate

Crowne Plaza® Amman has proudly announced achieving the ISO 22000 certificate for food safety through the supervision of Orouba Alaween, food safety engineer. Crowne Plaza® Amman is the third InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) hotel in Jordan to achieve this certificate.

Mr. Oussama Massoud, Regional General Manager for IHG Jordan said: “This is another achievement for Crowne Plaza® Amman that we are extremely proud of. We at the hotel are keen on providing our guests with the best quality possible, and this certificate is a testament of the management and the colleagues’ ongoing efforts to offer our guests with an excellent experience.”

The ISO (The International Organization for standardization) 22000 international standards specify the requirements for a food safety management system that involves the following elements: Interactive communication, system management, prerequisite programs and Hazards Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles.
