Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa celebrates its 1st anniversary

October 1^st marks the 1^st anniversary of the opening of Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa. The latest addition to the IHG cluster hotels in Jordan has established itself within one year among the key players in the Dead Sea area, and has become a force to be reckoned with in such a short period of time.

Mr. Firas Irsheidat, Area General Manager for Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa and Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea spoke expressed his pride: “We are proud of how far Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa has come. The resort is only a year old, but has achieved a lot during this year; the resort became one of the very well-known properties in the Dead Sea area, and has become popular among the residents of Jordan and the incoming tourists as well. It is noteworthy to also mention that in such a brief time, Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa has made major accomplishments, including receiving the ISO 22000: 2005 certificate for food safety, receiving accreditation as the first approved training center for the Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance UK (HABC) in Jordan; HABC being the world’s leading provider of food safety and compliance qualification and training material, and finally, completing level four in IHG’s environmental Green Engage program.”

Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa boasts 420 rooms and suites, including one Presidential Suite and one Royal suite. Guests can enjoy the vast pool called The Lake which is 5,500 m3 big, two smaller pools, as well as a soft white sandy beach by the Dead Sea with private cabanas. The resort also has The Promenade with panoramic views of the Dead Sea, an amphitheater, and a Kid’s Club.
