Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa First Hotel in Jordan to attain OHSAS 18001:2007 Certification

Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa, part of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), has received certification in Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Specification (OHSAS) 18001:2007, making it the first hotel in Jordan to do so. The certification was awarded y SGS, the leading global provider of cross-industry quality assurance solutions.

The OHSAS 18001:2007 certification comes as part of the Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa’s commitment to implementing a clear and methodological approach to occupational health and safety, thereby ensuring the health and comfort of its staff and guests. The certification enables Hotel officials to continuously evaluate risks and take any necessary preventive measures throughout daily operations, as well as to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and to enhance the Hotel’s general performance levels.
