CTA releases the new 300 series light Hino truck

Central Trade and Auto Company (CTA), the exclusive dealer for Toyota, Lexus and Hino in the Kingdom, released the new 300 Series light Hino trucks with a fresh new design and look. The launch event was held on Sunday, October 23^rd, at Action Target on Airport Road. 

The event was attended by CTA’s General Manager, George Haddad, executive managers and employees, senior figures from the parent company, Hino Motors Limited, in addition to the company’s regional director for the MENA region. A number of CTA’s clients and representatives of the local media were also guests at the launch. 

The launch included presentations highlighting the new features found in the 300 Series’ twenty four models. With weights ranging between 4.5 and 8.5 tons, the new line of vehicles cover the full spectrum of light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. Hino is one of the foremost manufacturers of hybrid trucks in Japan, with many models now coming standard with the Euro 3 eco friendly engine that reduces emissions of harmful gases as well as fuel consumption through an electric fuel charger. The range of vehicles included single standard, single wide, and double cab models, as well as the introduction of vehicles with automatic transmission - a first for Hino.   

Hino trucks offer a number of distinctive features that distinguish the vehicles from their competition. The trucks are marked by their sleek design, spacious cabs, an advanced air conditioning system, and a state-of-the-art safety alert system. The trucks are equipped with a panoramic-view windshield and side windows, wide-angle rear view mirrors, in addition to large halogen headlights and fog lights. All of these features combine to ensure a safe, pleasant, and comfortable driving experience. 

CTA was founded in 1999 as the exclusive dealer for Toyota in the Kingdom. The company has since adopted the Hino brand in 2006 and the Lexus brand in 2007. Hino Motors Limited is considered a subsidiary of the Toyota Motor Corporation group, the world’s largest automobile maker by sales and production. Toyota is also committed to developing and producing hybrids and alternative-fuel vehicles.
