CTA Toyota enabling children in the kingdom to participate in Toyota’s Global Toyota’s Dream Car Art Contest
Central Trade and Auto Company (CTA), the exclusive dealer for Toyota in the Kingdom, recently announced its participation in Toyota Motor Corporation’s recently launched 8th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest. The event is set to pave the way for Jordanian children to join in a fun international endeavour where they can showcase their artistic talents by drawing pictures of their dream cars.
Designed for children aged 15 and below, the contest aims to spark an interest among the young participants in automobiles and to encourage them all to have dreams worth chasing. The submitted art work should all be coloured and drawn by hand.
Submitted artworks will be judged by the official Toyota Motor Corporation dealer in each country. Submissions will be separated into three age categories; below 8 years, 8-11 years, and 12-15 years old. Three local winners will be selected from each category and will move on to participate in the global contest where an international winner will be selected from each category.
CTA will be accepting entries for the 8th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest from December 1st, 2013 through February 28th, 2014.
Previous editions of the competition were just as successful, whereby in the years 2011 and 2012 a Jordanian student qualified to the final phase of the 6th contest in Japan to win a place in one of the categories as well as an all-paid expenses trip to Japan to attend the winning ceremony.
The contest expanded from Asia to include North, Central, and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East. Last year, more than 611,000 entries from 70 countries were submitted to the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest worldwide.
