The National Health Insurance Company- Daman has opened a new Thiqa branch as part of its drive to enhance services for UAE Nationals. The new branch, situated in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi brings the total number of dedicated Thiqa branches to three in addition to the network of 20 Thiqa service points across the Emirate, offering greater accessibility for Daman members.
The new Thiqa branch joins Daman’s other branches in Musaffah being located at the Global Ascent Centre with close proximity to Emirates ID and SEHA offices in the area.
Commenting on the new branch, Ahmed Al Neyadi, Director, Thiqa, said: "The new branch acknowledges our efforts to improve accessibility to our services by being closer to our members. The new branch is ideally situated to serve members residing in Shahama, Khalifa City A and B, as well as Mohammed Bin Zayed City. We will continue to strengthen our service network and broaden Thiqa services’ reach throughout the Emirate.”
The Mussafah branch is able to handle in excess of 150 customers daily and offers a wide range of services for members including membership applications, renewals, and replacement of lost cards. It is also equipped to print cards on-the-spot, enabling the member to get their Thiqa card within 30 minutes.
Daman’s Thiqa service network now includes 23 service locations of which there are three full-service branches and 20 service points, many of which are located within medical facilities for immediate support. The three branches are located in Abu Dhabi city and Al Ain with the latest branch located in Mussafah. Service points are situated across the Emirate: 6 in Abu Dhabi City, 8 in Al Ain and 6 in the Western Region.
