Dar Al Dawa Marks World Hypertension Day and Launches Awareness Campaign

Marking World Hypertension Day on May 17th of every year, Dar Al Dawa launched a campaign to raise awareness on hypertension disease, which was held in the company’s head quarterpremises in Naur. The campaign started by testing the blood pressure for 500 Dar Al Dawa factory workers and holding an awareness lecture on the harms of hypertension and ways to maintain healthy levels, which was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Juma’a Ibrahim (Endocrine Diseases Consultant).

“This campaign was launched to raise awareness on hypertension and its prevention methods, considering that it is one of the most widespread diseases in the Kingdom. Dar Al Dawa always strives to educate citizens about health issues to improve their quality of life in society.” Says Khaled Al-Kurdi, Managing Director.

Additionally the company distributed awareness materials containing tips on maintaining healthy blood pressure levels through following a healthy lifestyle as well as the importance of keeping track of blood pressures levels regularly.
