An aura of revelry is in the air at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates this holiday season in preparation for a Christmas and New Year brimming with merriment.

“Being the UAE’s first and only luxury ski resort, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates has always exuded that special wintry feeling. This is further accentuated by our seasonal deals, put together keeping in mind the values of family, friendship and celebration that the holiday season celebrates,” says Alejandro Bernabé, General Manager, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.

On December 6, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates will undergo a merry transformation, with halls and passages decked out in colourful Christmas decorations.

On 9 December, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates will honour the seasonal spirit of giving, with the sixth Annual Stollen Charity Cake Sale taking place in collaboration with Mall of the Emirates at the Galleria. All proceeds made from the sales of this traditional cake will go to the Dubai Centre for Special Needs.

Patrons in search of festive goodies can visit the Festive Season Desk at the hotel’s entrance, where favourites such as sweet mince pies, gingerbread houses and homemade cookies may be purchased, and takeaway orders for traditional roast turkeys – complete with seasonal trimmings such as brussel sprouts, glazed carrots, oven-roasted potatoes and the hotel’s signature stuffing – can be placed. Guests can also inquire about or reserve any of the hotel’s holiday promotions at the Festive Season Desk.

Further servings of Christmas spirit will be offered up at Sezzam with a special Santa’s Brunch. This hearty buffet is open every Friday and Saturday between December 9– 25, from 11:30 am to 5 pm, for AED 195 per person including soft drinks, water, coffee and tea, or AED 295 per person including wine. Santa himself will visit Sezzam daily over this period, and kids get a festive photo – in Santa’s very own home – as well as a special treat from the jolly man in red, between 12 noon and 2 pm. The Kempinski Choir will also drop in for a live carolling performance from 1pm - 1:20 pm.

Aspen too is getting in on the festivities, with Santa popping in from 3 pm and 5 pm daily, between 11 – 25 December. His visit will coincide with a daily performance of live Christmas carols sung by the Kempinski Staff Choir from 4 pm – 4:20 pm. Pop in for a Festive Afternoon Tea, Sunday to Thursday from December 11 – 23, at AED 150 for 2 (a la carte), including non-alcoholic gluhwein, tea and coffee. The weekends offer a sumptuous Festive High Tea Buffet, from December 9 – 25 at AED 110 per person including finger sandwiches, scones and cakes. A seasonally-themed selection of teas and coffees as well as other goodies will also be on offer in the run up to Christmas.

1897 Bar and Mosaic Chill will offer special festive cocktails, with seasonal shisha flavours on offer on the Mosaic Chill Terrace. For cosier gatherings, groups can reserve 1897 for private Christmas parties and end-of-year bashes, complete with a specially created menu of drinks and canapés.

KGrill is also laying out a delicious spread this Christmas, with a festively priced a la carte menu with all your favourite Christmas specialities. Tuck into a delectable 5-course Christmas Eve Dinner at AED 395 per person including soft drinks, or AED 495 per person with wine. Dinner is served from 8 pm, with a cellist providing live entertainment through the evening. There is also a Christmas Brunch on offer, from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm at AED 195 per person including soft drinks, and AED 295 per person including wine.

Those looking for something altogether more magical can head to one of Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates’ signature Ski Chalets on December 24, for a Christmas Eve dinner overlooking the snowy slopes of Ski Dubai. There will be a delicious spread in store and Christmas goodies delivered straight to your door. This special offer is available starting from AED 395 per person with a minimum of 6 guests and a maximum of 12.

Guests wishing to wake up to a proper white Christmas the next morning can combine dinner and a stay at the Ski Chalet starting from AED2789 per person, for a minimum of 2 persons and a maximum of 6.

The festivities draw to a crescendo as the year rolls to a close. New Year’s Eve at KGrill sees a lavish 7-course dinner on offer at AED 1650 per couple, including soft drinks. AED 2012 per couple adds wines, digestives and champagne with welcome drinks. Guests dining at KGrill will see some smooth saxophone kicking off the evening with style at 8:30 pm, followed by a five-piece band and entry to the terrace to watch the mid night fireworks and enjoy the music at Mosaic Chill.

Or head to Aspen on December 31 for the Gala Dinner Buffet on New Year’s Eve, at AED 395 per person including non-alcoholic beverages or AED 560 per person with soft drinks, wines and a celebratory glass of champagne at midnight as well as the entry to the terrace to watch the mid night fireworks and enjoy the music at Mosaic Chill.
