DIB’s Human Resources Department receives ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management Systems

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), the largest Islamic bank in the UAE, announced today that the Bank’s Human Resources Department has received the ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management Systems (QMS).
The ISO 9001:2015 is the updated edition of the world’s first Quality Management Systems. The ISO 9001:2015 certification validates DIB’s continuous efforts towards successfully implementing international best practices in line with the bank’s vision.
One of the primary areas of focus for DIB is to build robust strategies and policies to ensure exceptional HR operations throughout the Bank. The ISO 9001:2015 certification is a remarkable milestone for DIB as it further reinforces its position as a market leader and employer of choice.
Commenting on this achievement, Obaid Al Shamsi, Head of Human Resources & Administration, Dubai Islamic Bank said: “Obtaining the ISO 9001:2015 certification illustrates that Dubai Islamic Bank, with the adoption of best practices, has elevated the overall quality of its internal process and services.
