DMA gets membership of international bodies specialized in organizing land and real estate sector

The Department of Municipal Affairs in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi got a membership of the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association Limited (APRE) and associate member of the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO) while it will be awarded a permanent membership after the issuance of the real estate law in the Emirate.

The Land and Property Regulations & Registration Division in the Land & Property Management Sector in the Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) said that this step comes within the framework of efforts to enhance the management of the real estate market in the emirate and to develop the quality of services in this sector in line with international standards and best practices applied in the management of the land and real estate, and legislations which contribute to the strengthening of the organizational process of the real estate sector and protect the rights of all parties involved in this sector.

This new membership also comes within the endeavors of the Department of Municipal Affairs to take advantage of best practices and standards applied by international organizations in this field, aiming to strengthen the legislative environment and legal aspects of the real estate sector. This membership paves the way for more cooperation between the real estate employees in the Municipal System and the experts in these international institutions and will allow to exchange knowledge and experience on the Real Estate Regulatory laws in addition to the identification of educational and training programs in the field of management of the real estate market, and will allow to exchange knowledge about studies, research and benchmarking on the regional and global level in the property and land sector. It also forms a good opportunity to connect with professionals and experts in the  management of real estate market in a number of countries around the world.

It should be noted that the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association Limited  is an association representing the real estate sector in Asia and the Pacific, and has representative offices in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, India and the Philippines, while the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials includes official government bodies and organizations all over the world and specialized in the licensing and registration of real estate supported by the best international standards applied in this field.
