DPG celebrates National Day with residents and employees

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, and master developer of world class destinations in Dubai including Business Bay, DUBAILAND and The Walk at JBR, hosted National Day celebrations in its residential communities to mark the 42^nd anniversary of the United Arab Emirates.

Residents in DPG’s Remraam, Layan , Shorooq and Ghoroob communities, participated in an afternoon of National Day events, held in conjunction with the Dubai Municipality Architectural Heritage Society, to celebrate the rich traditions and proud heritage of the UAE with a variety of cultural activities.

A full day of celebrations also took place at DPG’s Design Centre in The Lagoons for staff to commemorate the establishment of the UAE. Organised by DPG’s corporate culture team, the celebrations included henna painting, traditional dance and cultural games for DPG employees and their families.

To mark the occasion, Mr. Khalid Al Malik, Group CEO of DPG, highlighted the importance of celebrating the UAE’s National Day during his opening speech, which was followed by UAE themed team-building exercises to enhance employees’ knowledge of UAE culture and heritage.
