DPG continues to invest in employee development with ‘Insights on Leadership’ forum in collaboration with Dubai Real Estate Institute

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, held the third session of its ‘Insights on Leadership’ forum as part of its Corporate Academy Programme. 

The forum, developed in collaboration with Dubai Real Estate Institute, provided DPG’s middle and senior management with insights on the real estate market, and best practice related to the evolving real estate industry, new rules and regulations and future trends. 

Introduced by Mr. Khalid Al Malik, Group CEO of Dubai Properties Group, the session included a presentation by guest speaker Mr. Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of the Land Department (DLD) who gave an overview of DLD and its role in developing Dubai’s real estate sector. In addition, Mr. Bin Mejren also talked about Dubai’s freehold law, highlighting its development, key features and how the regulation was introduced. He finished by referencing the Trust Account Law (Law 8 2007), the dispute resolution mechanism provided by the Real Estate Arbitration Centre and the methodology for property valuation.
