du celebrates Emirati Women’s Day

On the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day, du hosted an exclusive ceremony for its female Emirati employees, to celebrate their contribution to the company’s success. du encouraged the women to continue to build their burgeoning careers in the ICT telecommunications sector.
Over the years, du has continued to promote female empowerment through a number of key initiatives spearheaded by Hala Badri, Executive Vice President Brand and Communication. This year has seen the company take a leading role as sponsor of the first ever MENA Global Women’s Forum. As part of its mission to create leaders of tomorrow, du has remained firmly dedicated to supporting Emirati girls at a grassroots level – through education – and encouraging them to gain workplace experience.
