du and Red Bull Racing renew Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race partnership for another two years

du has announced its renewed partnership with Red Bull Racing, to continue as the team’s official Race Partner at the 2012 and 2013 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

This marks the third consecutive year that du has been partnered with Red Bull Racing. The announcements coincides with the global achievements of Red Bull Racing, who currently lead the 2012 Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championships, as well as du’s successful testing of 300Mbps on its award-winning LTE 4G network.

Customers will have the chance to participate in competitions in the lead-up to the 2012 Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with the chance to win an exciting range of prizes – including the opportunity to meet the current World Champion, Sebastian Vettel.

Additionally, race-goers will enjoy a fully interactive experience at the Yas Marina Circuit, as the telecom will implement thrilling ground activities to emulate the speed of its LTE 4G mobile broadband network.

F1 and music fans will also have the chance to see three of the world’s biggest celebrities – Kylie, Eminem and Nickelback – in the du Arena, as they perform for the after-race concerts. du will provide a unique experience in its concert venue, the du Friends Lounge, both before and during the performances.
