du Youth Council cuts the ribbon on its first industry-leading fitness initiative

du Youth Council, from Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) has announced the successful rollout of the first initiative at Padel Point in Ras Alkhor. The du Youth Council invited 32 members of the telecommunications sector to participate in a padel tennis competition to support the UAE Agenda on youth empowerment and development objectives.
Done by the youth and for the youth, the event saw emerging talents from leading telco companies such as e&, Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority “TDRA” and the Professional Communication Corporation “Nedaa” gather under one roof to team up and engage in a friendly padel tennis competition.
du Youth Council was established in 2017 as part of the UAE leadership’s vision for future success to empower Emirati youth through ICT and incentives to pursue their careers in the telecommunications sector. It provides a unique platform that welcomes new concepts, ensures ideas are considered within the organization, reinforces the role of the youth, and encourages up-and-coming talent engagement.
