Dubai Airport Freezone awarded for Interactive Creativity in e-Government Web

Dubai Airport Freezone has received the e-government web award for the design and creativity of its website. The recognition was given by the  Pan Arab Web Awards Academy and the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), a leading non-profit organization affiliated to the League of Arab States.

The award ceremony recently held at Maritim Hotel and Resort in Sharm Al Sheikh, Egypt, was organized to encourage creativity and compliance with international standards in designing government websites across the Arab world. Also honored at the event, were government agencies from several Arab countries including, Lebanon, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, KSA, Bahrain and Syria.

It is a big boost to our morale and we remain steadfast in ensuring that we deploy innovative technology to support and engage with our various stakeholders,” said Mrs Bouthaina Hamad Bin Fahd, Head of ICT of Dubai Airport Freezone.

In the recent past, Dubai Airport Freezone has won a number of awards across a variety of categories. It was recently ranked number one among all free zones in the Middle East. Other accolades include, the Dubai Human Development Award (Dubai Quality Award), ISO 2000 certification in IT Service Management, Arabia Corporate Social Responsibility Award and the Interactive Innovation Award.
