Dubai Culture’s Council of Happiness & Positivity Celebrates the Beneficiaries of Its Initiatives

The Council of Happiness and Positivity at Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts, heritage, and literature, and in presence of Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director General along with management officials, hosted a ceremony to honour 26 of its employees who benefited from the Mabrookain and Usrati initiatives, within the framework of several initiatives launched by the Authority’s Council.

Held at the Etihad Museum, the event focused on elevating feelings of happiness and positivity and promoting them among Dubai Culture’s departments and employees as sustainable attitudes towards life.

Dhaen Shaheen, Advisor to Dubai Culture and Chairman of the Council of Happiness and Positivity at Dubai Culture, said: “We are delighted to honour our colleagues as part of this ceremony, which falls within the framework of our initiatives and projects that aim to realise the Council’s objectives, foremost of which is spreading happiness and positivity. We are committed to our pledge to hear the opinions and recommendations of all our colleagues, joining hands to establish a positive environment at Dubai Culture to make the Council’s goals a reality.”

The Mabrookain initiative aims to encourage promoted employees to be more competitive and be proactive, preparing them to assume leadership roles in the future. The ‘Usrai’ initiative honoured the 7 employees who won in the Women’s Spartan Race.

The Council launched this initiative to better interaction between male and female employees, coming together as members of one family to celebrate all personal and social occasions.

Through these initiatives, Dubai Culture seeks to underpin its commitment to support the National Program for Happiness and Positivity and to bring to life the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership to spread happiness and positivity across all segments of society. Dubai Culture also plays a leading role in bolstering community happiness through a range of initiatives that drive the fields of culture, heritage, arts and humanities.
