Dubai Culture Participates in the Institute of Internal Auditors International Conference 2018

Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, has announced its support of ‘The Institute of Internal Auditors International Conference 2018’ as a Cultural Partner under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Through its partnership with the conference, which will run from 6th to 9th May at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai Culture will showcase the UAE’s culture and heritage to an international audience, while also presenting the nation’s traditional industries and thriving modern arts scene. Visitors will enjoy heritage arts that have been passed down through the generations and live performances by Emirati groups.

Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director General of Dubai Culture, commented: “We at Dubai Culture are pleased to partner with ‘The Institute of Internal Auditors International Conference 2018’, as it will allow us to introduce a wide international audience to the culture and traditions of the UAE through arts and live performances. This supports our vision of establishing Dubai as an international and sustainable city for creativity and heritage, as well as our mandates to support local talents and celebrate Emirati culture by sharing them with the world.”

The conference is organised in collaboration with ‘The Institute of Internal Auditors’ in the UAE and is expected to attract 2,500 auditors from 100 countries. During the conference, over 100 professional supervisors will plan more than 70 seminars and educational workshops to present visitors with the latest development in auditing and accounting.

Dubai Culture aims to enhance Dubai’s cultural scene and draw attention to the Emirate’s rich heritage with a variety of initiatives that take place throughout the year. The Authority’s mandate is to build bridges of constructive dialogue between different civilisations and cultures through enriching initiatives that benefit the Emirate’s citizens, residents and visitors.
