Dubai Customs Celebrates UAE Golden Jubilee

Dubai Customs celebrated today (Sunday 28th November 2021) the UAE 50th National Day (Golden Jubilee), at its main headquarters at Port Rashid, under the slogan (UAE 50th’s Anniversary: Unlocking Centennial Achievements). 

H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, CEO of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, Director General of Dubai Customs, executive directors, heads of customs departments and centers and around 500 employees attended the event. 

The celebrations started with the national anthem followed by a military parade performed by Dubai Customs officers. A Dubai Police cavalry troupe then performed a special performance at the ceremony, followed by dances and songs performed by the kids of the Dubai Customs nursery.

A miniature heritage village was built at the venue, which featured historical antiques and heritage designs. Attendants enjoyed the folkloric ambiance and the local cuisines and songs.

H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates on the glorious occasion of the Union’s 50th anniversary. He also extended his congratulations to all those who call the UAE home.
