Dubai Customs: Dh4.8 Billion Value of Dubai Trade in Hardware and Tools in 2017

In conjunction with the Hardware and Tools Middle East 2018, the region’s only trade fair dedicated solely to tools, hardware, materials and machinery and organized at DWTC from 2 to 4 April 2018, Dubai Customs issued its recent figures on Dubai’s external trade in hardware and tools in 2007. This trade reached AED 4.8b (imports with AED 3.4b, re-exports with AED 1.36, and exports with AED 30m).

The figures revealed that China and the USA topped the list of Dubai’s partners in hardware and tools trade in 2017 with AED 760m of trade for each of them. In the second place came Italy with AED 467m, Germany with AED 307m, and India with AED 205m.

Ahmed Abdul Salam Kazim, Director of Strategy and Corporate Excellence commented on the latest figures:” Dubai external trade in hardware and tools helps the emirate in developing a number of important economic sectors which supports the national economy.
