Dubai Customs Distributes 10,000 Meals During Ramadan

Director of Dubai Customs Ahmed Mahboob Musabih participated in distributing 2,500 meals to motorists and pedestrians on Sheikh Rashid Road at sunset time on Saturday 26th May 2018. The initiative, called “Al Furdah Hands”, is led by Dubai Customs Ghayath Volunteer Team in line with the Year of Zayed.

A hundred employees along with their children took part in the initiative with the help and support of ports security team. The initiative will see the distribution of 10,000 meals during the Holy Month of Ramadan

“We are celebrating the Holy Month and materializing the values of giving and selflessness instilled in us by the Founder of this nation, the Late Sheikh Zayed, May God Bless His Soul. This is not the first time; we participate in charitable initiatives to support the sustainable values of giving and compassion. Between 2015 and 2017, Dubai Customs dedicated AED 143m for social and charitable initiatives that targeted 10,504 individuals” Musabih said.

Musabih pointed out that social initiatives aim at strengthening ties between community members and spreading a culture of giving and benevolence following the steps of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, May God Bless His Soul.
