Dubai Customs receives a delegation from Estemarat Services Centre “Tas-heel” to explore best practices

A delegation from Estemarat Services Centre “Tas-heel” in Sharjah paid a visit to Dubai Customs to learn about best practices and experiences in some of its departments, such as the Client Management, HR, IT, Strategy & Corporate Excellence and Business Process. The delegation was received by the Government Partnership Section of Dubai Customs.
The Estemarat team listened to a thorough presentation of every department’s duties.
The Client Management Department showcased their objectives and the criteria of forging productive partnerships with customers. They also discussed their services standards and delivery channels.
The Business Process and Enterprise Architecture Department highlighted work mechanisms for each of its sections separately and their development initiatives.
On the other hand, the Human Resources Department at Dubai Customs displayed employees performance assessment criteria, incentive system, individual objectives and how they are linked to DC strategic goals, in addition to other topics of their work.
The Strategy & Corporate Excellence Department elaborated on the mechanism of implementing corporate excellence methodologies at DC.
And towards the end of the visit, the IT Department shed light on their approach towards information security, smart initiatives that they launched and their future plans to develop the department.
The visiting delegation expressed their sincere appreciation of Dubai Customs’ steadfast commitment towards achieving strategic synergy.
