Dubai Festival City Mall Lights and Activities Bring Back The Warmth of Ramadan

Dubai Festival City Mall’s campaign ‘Anwarat’ gives shoppers and their families a chance to participate in various activities in the newly opened Festival Square this Ramadan.
The space will feature traditional Ramadan décor with beautiful lanterns in vibrant colours. Children will have the chance to explore different culturally-relevant apps at the dedicated educational zones. Shoppers can connect with their families and friends from out of town in the especially created Internet booth.
Guests looking for a shopping spree will also enjoy visiting the 30 recently launched brands at the all-new Festival Square and around the mall.
“Dubai Festival City Mall is embracing the spirit of Ramadan through a strong line-up of themed activities and we look forward to being the destination of choice for everyone looking to spend quality time with family and friends,” said Brad Merchant, General Manager, Dubai Festival City Mall.
Festival Square will host a traditional Hakawati to entertain visitors with stories from yesteryear as well as henna and calligraphy art and traditional Ramadan games for children.
Through a joint initiative with the UAE Ministry of Health, designed to improve awareness among UAE residents to lead healthy lifestyles, the mall will offer customers free checkups and consultations by health experts.
Anyone visiting Dubai Festival City Mall between 9pm and 12am daily will be provided with retinal screening tests for diabetes, as well as BMI, blood glucose and blood pressure assessments.
“The aim of this campaign is to educate, inspire and provide all those who visit our mall during Ramadan with critical information about their health to help them make changes that will impact their life positively,” commented Mr. Merchant.
“We hope that our visitors enjoy themselves during this very special time of the year by participating in the many activities that we have planned to make the Holy Month a spiritual, educational and entertaining experience for all,” concluded Mr. Merchant.
