Dubai Ladies Club organises Smoking Cessation Campaign in Cooperation with Dubai Healthcare City

In line with its commitment to promote a healthy smoke-free environment for women, Dubai Ladies Club, a member of the Dubai Women Establishment, recently organised a special morning to conduct complimentary Nicotine Tests and educate club members and guests about the dangers of smoking, in collaboration with Dubai Healthcare City.

Dubai Ladies Club set up a purpose-designed Smoking Cessation and Awareness booth where ladies were be able to consult a doctor about the health risks related to smoking and also check their nicotine content.

On the occasion, Lamia Abdulaziz, Director of Dubai Ladies Club said, "As a women-only recreational facility, Dubai Ladies Club is committed to the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff. With a mission to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve, we believe that we have a responsibility to take a leadership role on this major health issue, and allowing people to use tobacco products defeats this purpose. That is why Dubai Ladies Club has been unwavering in their commitment main a smoke-free environment, since 2003."

As a women-only recreational facility, Dubai Ladies Club aims to contribute to the overall benefit of the society by participating in community related activities. Since its inception, Dubai Ladies Club has implemented several community programs which include regular social campaigns aimed at raising awareness and promote women’s health and wellbeing environment.
