Dubai Ladies masters gets Wasl boost

wasl Asset Management Group (‘wasl’), the largest asset management company in Dubai, today announced it has partnered with ‘golf in Dubai’, the city’s leading organiser and promoter of golfing events, to support and sponsor for the third year, the Dubai Ladies Masters. The tournament is held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. This year’s 6th edition of the tournament will take place at wasl’s Emirates Golf Club between December 14th and 17th

Organised by ‘golf in Dubai’, the tournament will host 108 professional players from over a dozen countries, including leading names from the Ladies European Tour and Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) including Michelle Wie, Laura Davies and Christina Kim.

wasl is also participating in the Pro-Am, a pre-tournament event involving local golf players, celebrities and professional golfers. wasl is hosting three teams, one of which is made up exclusively of leading amateur lady players from the community. Those participating are: Ms Eida Al Muhairbi and Dr Rabab Al Haj, both Emirati and Ms Lindsey Brown.
