The Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) has announced that it will continue to serve iftar meals to the workers of Dubai Maritime City’s (DMC) Industrial Zone during the holy month of Ramadan.

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) has announced that it will continue to serve iftar meals to the workers of Dubai Maritime City’s (DMC) Industrial Zone during the holy month of Ramadan. The move is part of DMCA’s ‘Worker Iftar’ initiative, inspired by the holy month’s noble values of compassion, forgiveness, and giving.

Amer Ali, Executive Director of DMCA, said: “‘Worker Iftar’ is a CSR initiative that we implement during Ramadan. The program highlights the importance of charitable and humanitarian works emphasized by our founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who aimed to build a state that would serve as a role model of tolerance, co-existence, unity, and respect.”

Ali also stressed the need to continue launching CSR initiatives that are aligned with the principles behind the ‘Year of Tolerance’ declaration.  These initiatives, he said, should complement the core values of the UAE in accordance with the Islamic principles.
