Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority appoints Ghanim Al Falasi as Senior Vice-President of Corporate Services

Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, the regulatory body for Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated free zone technology park, today announced the appointment of Ghanim Al Falasi as the Senior Vice-President of Corporate Services.
In his new role at DSOA, Ghanim is mandated to drive strategic planning across the departments of Information Technology, People and Business Excellence, as well as Logistics and Contracts.
Prior to joining DSOA, Ghanim served as Vice-President of the ICT Unit at Dubai Airports where he provided executive, technological and enterprise administrative leadership. In his earlier association with the department of Civil Aviation in Dubai (DCA), Ghanim successfully established an ICT directorate for DCA based on a study conducted to identify the infrastructure and services required for the delivery of outstanding performance. As part of this role, he liaised with several governmental organizations including the UAE Ministry of Defence, UAE Armed Forces, and the Central Military Command.
A wholly-owned entity of the Government of Dubai, Dubai Silicon Oasis operates as a free zone technology park for semiconductors, microelectronics and other electronics-based companies looking to set up their regional headquarters and R&D divisions in the Middle East and North Africa region.
