eHostingDataFort wins prestigious honours at Data Centre Strategies Middle East Awards 2011

eHosting DataFort (eHDF), the region’s leading managed IT and advisory services provider and a member of TECOM Investments, has been honoured in three different categories at the annual Data Centre Strategies Middle East Awards 2011.

eHDFwas named ‘Best New Data Centre’ and ‘Best Colocation Provider’ while Yasser Zeineldin, CEO, eHosting DataFort, was awarded ‘CEO of the Year’ for his work in guiding the company to become themarket leaderin providing high quality hosting and managed services to a worldwide customer base.

Under Zeineldin’s leadership, eHDFhas doubled its customer base, delivered customized solutions that cater to diverse customer needs andgained the highest levels of global certifications including BS-25999, ISO20000 and ISO 27001. Such certifications ensure business continuity, as well as assure quality and security of the services rendered to customers. Notably, these achievements drove a record financial performance and operational efficiency in-line with global benchmarks.

Organised annually by the Broad Group,as part of the Data Centre Strategies Middle East conference, the awards were presented to eHDF at a ceremony held in Dubai.

The award for the ‘Best New Data Centre’ comes on the back of eHDF’s announcement of its new data centrefacilityat the International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) in Dubai. The soon to be inaugurated hybrid Tier-2and Tier-3state-of-the-art data centre has been built using the latest and most innovative technologies, including a self-regulated cooling system. The new facility willallow full redundancy, high density computing and disaster recovery and business continuity seats.

eHDF was also awarded the‘Best Colocation Provider’ foritsdecade long history of serving the diverse and customisedneeds of clients.
