Emarat participates in the fourth Arab conference for outsourced contracting 2012

Engineer Arif Eissa Al Muhairi, Engineering and Services Manager at Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat", took part in the Fourth Arab Conference for Outsourced Contracting 2012, which was held at the Address Hotel in Dubai, and attended by many specialists in this field.  

Engineer Arif presented, during the conference, a paper under the title "Developing Service Providers While Dealing With Your Organization Outsourcing Issues", in which he addressed the mechanisms of outsourcing to reduce cost and/or improve services. He also discussed the challenges that face outsourcing such as the internal services team in the organization, defining main maintenance activities, identifying real cost baseline for activities which will be outsourced. 

He also spoke about the issues that face identifying key performance indicators, defining terms and conditions of contract. Engineer Arif referred to Emarat as a case study in outsourcing the maintenance of fuel equipment in petroleum retail outlets. 

The conference had addressed during its two days sessions numerous issues such as the systems and regulations needed to enhance the success of cooperative trade relationships based on the latest outsourced contracting services.
