Emarat discusses further cooperation with Bahrain Petroleum Company "Bapco"

His Excellency Adel Khalifa Al Shaer, the acting general manager at Emirates General Petroleum Corporation “Emarat” made a visit with a delegation from Emarat to Bahrain Petroleum Company “Bapco”, during which they discussed the enhancement of collaboration and cooperation between the two companies, in addition to exploring new investment opportunities in the field of fuel and energy.

The acting general manager and his delegation met Mr. Khalid Buhazza General Manager of Bahrain Petroleum Company “Bapco”, Mr. Zakaria Sulaiman Manager Petroleum Product Sales, Mr. Yousif Almezel, Senior Co-Originator Petroleum Product Sales and Mr. Esam Kamal, Senior Co-Originator Petroleum Product.

His Excellency Adel Al Shaer was accompanied with Mr. Abdul Rahman Qassim Al Ali, Commercial Sales Manager, and Engineer Ibrahim Yacoob Al Tamimi, Terminals & Logistics Manager.

Bapco is entirely owned by the government of Bahrain, and it operates in the oil industry. Its operations include oil exploration, drilling, production, refining, and distribution of petroleum products and natural gas, in addition to selling and exporting raw oil and petroleum products.

Bapco owns an oil refinery with a capacity of 250,000 bpd, in addition to storage facilities that can take up to 14 million barrel, a local products distribution center, and a dock for the exports of its products.
