Embraer, in Cooperation With RJ, Organizes Demo Flight; Showcases Embraer’s E2 Family Specs

Embraer, the third largest aircraft manufacturer, in collaboration with Royal Jordanian, organized a special flight to the city of Aqaba on Tuesday, Oct. 4, to demonstrate to the participants the specs of the new aircraft, E195, one of the E2 family that RJ is considering adding to its fleet.
Participating in the demonstration trip were: RJ’s Vice Chairman/CEO Samer Majali, CCO of Embraer Commercial Aviation Martyn Holmes, executives from both companies, media representatives and social media influencers.
RJ is considering introducing to its short-haul fleet this modern aircraft type that boasts high operating economics and fuel efficiency, in addition to lower maintenance costs. The E2 will be an important enabler for RJ’s growth plan in the levant by increasing frequencies to current markets offering passengers more choices through higher frequencies.
Customers will discover a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable seating, while enjoying Wi-Fi connection during their flight.
Majali expressed pleasure at the long-standing cooperation with Embraer, which has established itself as one of the largest commercial aircraft companies in the world.
He added that RJ’s strategy now focuses on further boosting its position as the preferred airline for the Levant by offering robust connectivity to a wider destination network, and these aircraft will highly serve the plan. The objective is also to position Amman as the leading gateway in the region by improving the quality of the services at all touch points, in a concerted effort to make passengers' experience even more comfortable and convenient.
