EMC showcases Edge-to-core Video Surveillance Solutions at Intersec 2015

EMC today announced its participation at Intersec 2015 being held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 18th until the 20th of January. Considered one of the world’s largest safety and security exhibitions, the event is slated to bring together over 24,000 professionals from across the region to discuss the latest trends and technologies in the realm of commercial security, information security, fire and rescue, safety and health in addition to homeland security and policing.
The event will see experts from EMC showcase the latest EMC Video Surveillance solutions to help enterprises deploy the open, flexible architecture required to realize the full potential of traditional and IP TV surveillance in the Big Data Era.
The announcement comes as enterprises across the region continue to make the shift from traditional analogue solutions to the latest IPTV surveillance systems in a bid to improve security measures across key verticals like banking and finance, airports, healthcare, governments, energy, oil and gas and many more.
As IP-based video surveillance networks become popular, enterprises need to reevaluate their data storage infrastructure to enable the scalability needed to provision ever growing data capacities without hindering access to the data or losing the data. EMC speakers will highlight the benefits of EMC's open, flexible, edge-to-core video surveillance solutions to help enterprises deploy proven, secure and cost efficient end to end solutions for video surveillance data storage.
Steve Lewis, Senior. Manager Global Business Development, Isilon Video Surveillance Practice Lead at EMC Corporation will also host a session on how enterprises can best store, scale, migrate, secure and analyze video assets to optimize video surveillance investments and overcome any storage challenges.
