EMC appoints Nazim Fraijat as Managing Director of Levant and Emerging Africa Region

EMC today announced that 13-year EMC veteran Nazim Fraijat has been appointed Managing Director for EMC’s Levant (Jordan, the Palestinian Authority, Lebanon and Iraq) and Emerging Africa region.In his new role, Fraijat will focus on strategy and business development to extend and further accelerate EMC’s growth in the region by delivering and supporting the full range of EMC products, services and solutions in established and new markets, and enhancing partner and channel relationships. Fraijat will report to Mohammed Amin, EMC’s Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Turkey, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East region.

Prior to his new role, Fraijat held a number of leadership positions at EMC, including Regional Director of EMC’s Backup and Recovery Systems division in Turkey, Emerging Africa and the Middle East,General Manager of EMC’s UAE and South Gulf District and Sales Manager for EMC’s Strategic Accounts in Oman and the UAE. Prior to joining EMC, Fraijat worked for AT&T and NCR.

Fraijat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of the District of Columbia, Washington D.C.
