Emirates celebrates 25 years of flights to Jordan

Emirates has marked its 25 years of flights to Jordan this month, emphasizing the airline’s enduring commitment to the market.

Almost a year after its official launch as the main flag carrier of Dubai, Emirates landed its inaugural flight to Jordan on September 1st, 1986. From an initial three flights per week, Emirates now has a total of 13 weekly flights, providing Jordan’s residents with an access to 114 destinations worldwide. In addition, the increase in frequency highlighted Jordan’s vitality in the Middle East as a prominent destination.

“We have come a long way in 25 years – reinforcing our strong commitment to the Jordanian market, we have flown continuously during that period, introducing along the way innovative campaigns to drive global tourism traffic to the country,” said Saeed Al Saeed, Emirates Manager in Jordan. 

Emirates’ vast network and outstanding connections have allowed Jordan’s residents to connect seamlessly to key destinations in AustraliaChinaSouth Korea, the Far East, and the Indian Ocean.

“The dedication of our staff and their commendable commitment allowed us to witness significant growth year after year. We believe that prioritizing the quality of our service played a significant role in our success. With 25 prosperous years already achieved, we are confident that we will continue to grow in this dynamic market,” added Al Saeed.

Emirates currently employ 38 staff in Amman, some of whom have been working with Emirates since it began operations in the country 25 years ago.
