Emirates Gas launches ‘Integrated Supply & Free Maintenance Service’ for bulk gas customers

Emirates Gas (EMGAS), a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), will now provide complimentary maintenance to exclusive bulk gas customers as part of a new ‘Integrated Supply & Free Maintenance Service’ aimed to serve as a one-stop hub for all bulk Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) customer needs.

This new service provides free of cost maintenance of LPG central gas systems to customers who have an exclusive annual supply agreement with EMGAS. The initiative is aimed at bringing best practices that promote enhanced customer service while strengthening safety standards in LPG operations at the customer’s end.

Announcing the initiative, Hesham Ali Mustafa, Senior Director – ENOC Gas Marketing and General Manager of Emirates Gas LLC, said: “EMGAS’ ‘Integrated Supply & Free Maintenance Service’ complements UAE’s focus to enhance the service quality across all touch points, which is reflected in the strategic growth vision for the nation announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

“This free service will also support the ongoing preparations by Dubai to host the World Expo 2020 by offering our varied clientele involved in infrastructure development projects to meet their LPG related needs to the highest standards of reliability and safety,” he added.

Serving as a single source for all gas related activities, EMGAS’ ‘Integrated Supply & Free Maintenance Service’ will cover a range of supply and maintenance features that will significantly add to the operational efficiency of all bulk gas customers. EMGAS’ clientele includes hotels, malls, hospitals, residential complexes as well as heavy and light industrial sectors who will now gain access to technical advice and LPG safety training at no extra cost.

As part of the service, customers will have access to a 24x7 call centre with a dedicated phone number to handle all maintenance requests. EMGAS will undertake preventive maintenance of the clients’ LPG facility as per industry best practice and conforming to the Dubai Civil Defence’s UAE Life & Safety Code of Practice. This will ensure uninterrupted gas supply with high reliability and safety, will optimise performance and prevent premature aging of the Central Gas System.

EMGAS will deploy trained and experienced LPG engineers for maintenance activities related to the customer’s LPG central gas systems. LPG emergencies will be attended on priority basis.
