Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies Awards Professional Development Programs to 47 UAE Nationals to Mark 47th UAE National Day

The Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, a regional leader in banking and finance education and training, celebrated the 47^th UAE National Day in a unique way – awarding professional development programs to 47 UAE nationals.   

Jamal Al Jassmi, General Manager of EIBFS, hoisted the UAE flag at the Institute’s Sharjah and Abu Dhabi campuses to the tune of the national anthem played by a military band. The ceremony drew the participation of faculty members, administrative staff, students from EIBFS and other educational institutions, and guests from the UAE banking community.

In his speech, Al Jassmi said: “The UAE National Day is a day of remembrance and celebration. Today, as we remember our founders, who came together to form an independent country, and the leaders who followed them, we also celebrate the enormous economic, social and cultural strides we have made as a nation in less than 50 years.”

He added: “Since 1983, EIBFS has played an important role in the UAE’s progress, and today, we can proudly claim that through our training and education programs, we have made a significant contribution to the growth of the banking and financial sector. In line with the government’s Emiratization drive in the financial sector, EIBFS continues to work with the HR and talent heads of UAE banks and insurance companies to build a future generation of Emirati leaders.”

In closing, he said: “To mark the 47^th UAE National Day, EIBFS is delighted to award professional development programs to 47 young Emirati men and women to pursue their training at our Institute. We wish them success in their studies and a bright career ahead.”
