Emirates Islamic Bank announces successful completion of foreign currency bank note exchange campaign

Emirates Islamic Bank, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, announced today the successful completion of its foreign currency bank note exchange campaign, under which the bank offered discounted summer rates on six currencies – US Dollar, British Pound, Swiss Franc, Euro, Canadian Dollar and Saudi Riyal.
Launched at the peak of summer, the campaign generated considerable interest from residents intending to travel to European and North American countries during the summer. Travellers planning visits to Saudi Arabia for Haj or Umrah have also taken advantage of the special exchange rates offered by Emirates Islamic Bank.
“Emirates Islamic Bank is always on the lookout to leverage opportunities to offer our customers world class services and a diverse range of productsunder one roof,” said Faisal Aqil Deputy CEO, Emirates Islamic Bank. “With so many people focused on travelling during summer, customers are keen to avail special exchange rates that will offer them good value. Emirates Islamic Bank’s discounted foreign currency bank note exchange rates are therefore particularly significant during peak outbound travel periods from the UAE and GCC.”
The summer campaign on foreign currency bank notes is part of Emirates Islamic Bank’s wider strategy to diversify and expand its product range and offer customers remittance and currency exchange products in addition to standard retail banking services. A large number of customers took advantage of the special rates during the promotion period.
