Empower and ELIPS reaffirm commitment to global quality standards with renewal of key ISO Certifications

In a step that further reinforces its leadership in adopting global best practices and upholding standards of excellence and corporate sustainability, Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, and Empower Insulated Pipe Systems (ELIPS), a fully owned subsidiary of Empower and a leader in innovative thermal solutions and insulated pipe manufacturing, have successfully renewed their ISO certifications.

The companies were re-certified for ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) after the successful completion of various surveillance audits conducted by Bureau Veritas, across Empower’s head office and District Cooling plants as well as at ELIPS manufacturing facility in Jebel Ali, reflecting the two organisations’ commitment to implementing best practices and the highest global standards in quality, sustainability, environment, health, and occupational safety.

Empower has also successfully completed the surveillance audit for Information Security Management System standard (ISO27001:2022) with Bureau Veritas, a move that reaffirms the company’s commitment to protecting the data of its customers and stakeholders and complying with corporate governance requirements.
