Empower to Participate as Strategic Sponsor at WETEX 2017

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, will participate in the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2017) as the Strategic Sponsor. The event will be held from 23 to 25 October 2017 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

While Empower will showcase its latest district cooling solution at the mega event, the company will also shed light on the growth of the district cooling sector in the region, and outline innovative and eco-friendly solutions that support economic growth while preserving natural resources and protecting the environment.

Over the years, our participation in this mega event has helped us achieve remarkable success in our goal of saving energy and preserving natural resources. This year, we aim to feature our latest products, technologies and solutions related to energy and district cooling efficiency, as well as green-building solutions,” said Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.   

WETEX will be attended by international companies, leading manufacturers, businessmen, distributors and retailers from around the world to showcase the latest technologies and green solutions in the energy, water and environment sectors.

“Participating at WETEX will help us reinforce our presence in the region and provide us an opportunity to showcase to the visitors our new technologies and best practices that help us achieve our sustainable goals. We will use our participation to discuss latest advancements in the district cooling side with international companies participating in the show,” added Ahmad Bin Shafar.

In line with the Exhibition's aim of spreading awareness of rational consumption oriented towards environmentally-friendly water and energy consumption, Empower will highlight the potential benefits of district cooling and also underline its recent savings of ‘Smile at 24 degrees’ summer campaign. 

“The key aim of our participations in WETEX is to showcase the high standards of the district cooling industry in the UAE to international visitors. This year, WETEX will gather thousands of local and international companies and organisations. It is the largest ever exhibition to date, in terms of number of participants, categories and activities and events related to energy, water, environment, renewable resources of energy, conservation and many other important matters.
