Empower Urges Customers to Stay Connected to Its Services to Enjoy a Refreshing Summer

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, urged its customers to stay connected to its services to ensure receiving district cooling services during the summer heat. This supports its efforts to raise its customers’ level of satisfaction and happiness, and its commitment to offer the best district cooling services and solutions.

Empower suggests several steps for its customers to enjoy sustainable district cooling services complying  international standards, through the steps that include regularly paying their bills before the due dates to avoid service interruption. Empower customers must check the consumer account number and registration number to avoid any errors in the payment process that may also result in service interruption. The maintenance team is advised to check cooling equipment and contact the company in case of disruptions in service. It is recommended to contact the maintenance team in the buildings to check the air filters, which may sometimes be blocked by dust.

Bin Shafar stressed the need to regularly pay bills to avoid the interruption of the cooling service. Empower allows customers to pay their bills through many means including its website, Al Ansari Exchange, ENBD , and “ Dubai Now” Application,  in addition to  its customer service centres. Empower also introduced an online calculator on its website to help its customers monitor and plan their district cooling consumption, helping them reduce consumption and achieve significant savings.

Moreover, Empower confirmed its readiness for summer through its 73 district cooling plants in Dubai. This works to achieve significant savings in electricity consumption and ensures the provision of environmentally friendly district cooling services. By the end of 2017, Empower had achieved total savings of 1,072MW of electricity, in addition to AED 2.8 billion worth of savings in electricity.

Empower currently operates over 1.34 Million RT, providing environmentally responsible district cooling services to large-scale real estate developments, such as Jumeirah Group, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai International Financial Centre, Business Bay, Dubai Healthcare City, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Palm Jumeirah, Discovery Gardens, Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai Design District and International Media Production Zone, among others.
