ENOC celebrates Flag Day marking national solidarity

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) today marked the national Flag Day by hoisting the UAE National Flag at the organisation’s headquarters in Dubai and across all offices of its subsidiary and associate companies.

At exactly 12 noon, along with all other government institutions, ENOC joined in the Flag Day celebrations marking the anniversary of the accession of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as UAE President.

Saeed Khoory, Chief Executive Officer of ENOC, and the company’s board members and senior managers took part in the flag hoisting ceremony head at ENOC Headquarters in Dubai.

Saeed Khoory said: “Through our participation in the Flag Day, announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, we are underlining our solidarity to the nation and the leadership.

“The Flag Day is a strong symbol of the ‘Spirit of the Union,’ uniting us all to work towards the overall social and economic prosperity of the country and the people. With the Flag Day, we are also renewing our commitment to further support the vision of our leaders to establish the UAE as among the best nations in the world and create a dynamic environment for generations to come.”

The Flag Day also marked the formal commencement of the UAE National Day celebrations on December 2.  As in earlier years, ENOC will organise a wide range of activities to celebrate the UAE National Day.
