Ernst & Young recently organized an International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) seminar in Abu Dhabi which was attended mainly by executives and staff of the public sector.

Andre Kasparian, Office Managing Partner, Ernst & Young Abu Dhabi, said: “Active participation at the seminar demonstrated the keen interest of the public sector in playing a leading role in adopting IPSAS in the region.”

IPSAS is an internationally recognized set of accounting standards for the public sector. The two-day seminar aimed at providing attendees with an overview of the IPSAS accrual accounting basis to be adopted in Abu Dhabi as per the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.
