Etisalat launches promotional voice and data packs for international travelers this summer

Vacationing abroad this summer is going to be even more enjoyable with Etisalat’s new ‘Summer promotion’ on roaming voice calls and data usage. Starting today till 30 September, customers traveling to international destinations can enjoy two incredible voice and data promotion packs. 

Roaming Outgoing Voice-Call Packs: As low as AED3 per minute

During the promotion, both post-paid and pre-paid customers can opt for one of Etisalat’s weekly roaming packs foroutgoing voice calls to the UAE. The weekly packs are charged at a fixed amount offering tremendous value with calls charged as low as AED3 per minute. Outgoing roaming calls within GCC countries namely Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE and Saudi Arabia will continue to be charged at a special pay-as-you-go rate of AED2.4 per minute.

On roaming incoming voice calls in more than 190 countries globally, with more than 650 operators, customers, both prepaid and postpaid customers continue to enjoy rates as low as AED1 per minute. To suit customers’ need and preference, Etisalat offers three packs with 30 minutes for AED60, 100 minutes for AED150 or 200 minutes for AED200. The discounted incoming voice call roaming pack options are available all year round and are valid for a month from the date of activation.

Plus, it helps eliminate bill shocks due to excess calls or data usage while roaming.” 

Global Data Roaming Daily and Weekly Promo Packs:

The UAE’s lowest mobile data roaming price offers maximum value. For Wasel prepaid and postpaid data users, Etisalat has launched a new Global weekly pack of 35MB for AED150, valid during the promotion. Customers can also enjoy additional data volume with a revamped Global daily data roaming pack of 10MB for a reduced price of AED50 throughout the summer promo period. Validity of all data packs start from first Internet access abroad.

Etisalat has increased the number of ‘Preferred’ roaming data partners to include Orange and T-Mobile Groups to the existing list. The new addition now allows existing ‘Preferred’ roaming packs of 100MB at AED95 (daily) and 200MB at AED395 (weekly)to be used across 36 operators in 32 countries at the same standard pack-rate. At any time before or after commencing travel, Etiaslat’s customers can view the list of operators and international roaming data services by dialing *177#.

To subscribe to any of Etisalat’s roaming packs, customers can dial *177# for FREE or SMS 1010 from the UAE or abroad at a local or roaming rate, as applicable. SMS purchase codes can be obtained by texting ROAME (for English) or ROAMA (for Arabic) to 1010, or from the website www.etisalat.ae/roaming Alternatively, customers can call Etisalat’s customer care centre at ‘8002300’ or visit any of the business centers or outlets across the UAE. 

Both voice and data promotional packs include all applicable taxes and operator charges. All roaming packs offer customers the option to repurchase any pack after the time expiry of the pack or after exhausting the inclusive minutes or data within the validity period. Roaming weekly packs for outgoing voice calls can be re-purchased at any time at the end of 7 days after pack expiry.
